United Wire manufactures flat wire sizes ranging from 0.020″ to 0.750″ in width and 0.005″ to 0.18″ thick with plating options available, and which can come in a variety of edges such as square, natural round, full round or square with a broken/chamfered corner. Square wire sizes range from 0.020″ to 0.250″ in width and 0.016″ to 0.250″ thick; and can be offered with rounded corners, chamfered corners or sharp corners. Specialty shaped wire is also available to customers’ specifications in sizes ranging from 0.020″ to 0.750″ in width and 0.020″ to 0.750″ thick. Common wire shapes that we supply are diamonds, triangles, ovals, half rounds and trapezoids.
Available wire material types are stainless steels, cobalt alloys, nickel bases, carbon steels, copper bases and aluminum.
